Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale (born April 2, 1985) is an American professional basketball player. She plays for Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, before being drafted by the Wings with the fifth overall selection of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale's parents Yolanda Ogunbowale & Gregory Ogunbowale were born March 2nd, 1997 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her siblings. The youngest sibling, she got the attention of her parents. Gregory his father served with the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale is from a vivacious family. The high schooler has made an appearance in 73 games and has accumulated 1,477 rebounds and 1,477 rebound throughout her playing career. Ogunbowale played in the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships 2014 FIBA World U17 Championships 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championships in which she was awarded Gold Medals. On July 7, 2014, Ogunbowale was named to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale has also been selected for the ACC All-Freshman Team for her debut collegiate season.
