Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actor from Australia. Cornish was most famous for her role in movies such as Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) and Sarah as well as Geostorm (2017). The latter movie Cornish won her first Screen Actors Guild Award as one of the actors. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 as well as a variety of other films, was her dad. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin's parents believed in her and encouraged her to become an actress. Fordham College was her first option when she was ready to attend the college of her dreams. The college was where she learned to improve her skills. After graduating, Gilpin began acting in Off-Broadway shows while auditioning for film and TV roles. After making a brief appearance on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent the actress was offered small parts in Ghost Town (2009) and The Northern Kingdom (2008). Gilpin got mostly TV part-time roles in the years to come, but her big break came in 2013 after she was cast as an actress on Nurse Jackie. The character of she played Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared on 34 episodes in the show before Nurse Jackie closed its doors in June 2015. Gilpin also appeared in the crime thriller True Story (2015).
