Canadian screen actor, best recognized for her performance on Lost Girl as Bo Dennis. CBSs Blood & Treasure was her first role in 2019. Other credits include 2006's Earthstorm and 2005s The Perfect Neighbor. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada the daughter of Peter Silk an academic and his wife Ilkay an actress producer playwright teacher and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Annas earliest memories of childhood include being a spectator to her mother's work in play rehearsals. Silk played a role as a youngster in a variety of commercials. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. When she first began her career in theater, she was involved in at least two Theatre St. Thomas productions: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Samuel and Levi are the sons of Seth Cooperman. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. CNN named her portrayal of Bo and Lauren, in their relationship as lovers of the same gender on Lost Girl one of their most cherished TV couples. E! declared them Top Television Couples of 2013.
